My fiancé and I hired Divine Design for our engagement photos. When looking through their Instagram, I was incredibly impressed with their use of light; the motions of the water; and the natural beauty of Maui’s landscape to emphasize the couples that they photograph. I remember thinking, “I want our own versions of their entire profile!!” When we met Juan Velilla in Maui, he did not disappoint! This was the first photo shoot that my fiancé and I ever did together. We were both worried we wouldn’t know how to pose or what to do with our hands, but we grew comfortable with Juan very quickly. By the end, my fiancé and I felt like we were just at a fun date on the beach! Juan instilled this sort of effortless joy to our shoot and I’m sure it’s something he brings to each one. After the shoot, we were SO excited to see how our pictures turned out. Yet again, Juan did not disappoint! Not only did he send us our gallery well in advance of when we expected them (and over a holiday weekend!), every time we look through it, we find new favorites! We ended up using 15 pictures on our wedding website because we simply could not narrow it down any further. Not surprisingly, we have been showered with many compliments. Needless to say, I would absolutely recommend hiring Divine Design as your photographer for whatever occasion! Thank you, Juan.

My wife and I could not be any more pleased with Divine Design Photography. We hired Juan Pablo to help introduce our new born baby boy Trusten to our family and he surely captured all the love we have for our son! We are very happy!! Trusten wasn’t exactly cooperating and fussing but somehow Juan Pablo created a gallery full of life, color, joy, and a story we will forever cherish! We really cannot believe how well these photographs turned out. We haven’t stopped looking at these photos and are extremely impressed. Aside from the gallery he created it was nice for him to also give us different ways to print, develop and express our photos in such high quality. Where to begin? Divine Design photography did such an amazing job capturing our elopement. My husband is not a “huge fan of getting pictures taken but had an absolute blast during our session.
